Incorporation
Commenced operations, with landmark development in Tudan, Miri, now known as Bandar Baru Permjaya
Ventured into construction with its first low-cost housing contract for the Housing and Development Commission and Pujut 7 Bridge across Miri River
Expanded to Kuching with Desa Ilmu development in Kota Samarahan
Developed Riveria, a modern satellite township in Kota Samarahan
Listed on Main Board of Bursa Malaysia
Established Tabung Amanah Naim (Naim Trust Fund) to provide assistance in the areas of education, disaster relief, sports, arts and culture and other charitable causes
Ventured into Sabah for our maiden oil and gas project (alliance contract with Samsung Korea for Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal)
Opening of Our First Mall, Naim Permymall, Miri
Adjudged the winner of the BrandLaureate Conglomerate Award and Sarawak Chief Minister’s Environmental Award, bringing the number of awards won to 15
Became the first East Malaysian Contractor to be awarded 2 stations packages under the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project
Built 16,000 houses for the Sarawak community
Launched Bintulu Paragon integrated development in Bintulu, the largest GDV development in our group’s history
Voted ‘Best Small Cap’ company by FinanceAsia in its 13th annual poll of Asia’s top companies
Won a total of 6 awards comprising 1 Corporate Social Responsibility award, 1 Environmental award and 4 Property awards, the highest number of awards being won in a single year in the Group’s history
Launch of Naim South Lake Permyjaya, Miri
Successfully installed the Phileo Damansara MRT Station’s Link Bridge (Peninsular Malaysia), dubbed the ‘largest lifting operation
